Dry Steam Cleaning

Dry steam cleaning uses the sanitising power of high-temperature, low-humidity steam vapour to quickly and effectively clean away dirt, food residue, grease and grime, insects and their eggs - even in the smallest of cracks and crevices.

Working quickly and effectively, dry steam vapour uses very little water and little or no chemicals for an environmentally friendly clean.

The 196 degree steam also kills mould, mildew, bacteria, fungi, listeria and micro-organisms on contact. Even hard surfaces harbour bacteria that become resistant to chemical sanitisers.

Don’t be confused by the name, dry steam vapour cleans with around 5% humidity so that surfaces dry quickly and are hygienic, ready for use.

Dry steam cleans effectively where traditional methods and chemicals alone cannot, resulting in improved cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standards.

Our equipment produces high temperature steam at around 180 degrees. Heat over 120 degrees destroys and removes micro-organisms haboured in diificult-to-reach locations and within biofilms.

Using high temperature cleaning eliminates the risk of bacteria developing resistance to chemicals.

Heat melts oils and grease making removal easier.

Heated surfaces dry quickly and are ready to use thereby reducing down-time.

Can be used on and around electrical and electronic equipment without risk of short-circuit.

Minimal water use allows dry steam to be used in areas without drains for a dryer clean.

No increase in humidity or condensation that could cause food safety issues.

Discharge pressure of 116 psi (8 bar) will not damage surfaces, bearing seals, motors, or sensors.

No need to mask off or bag equipment.

With the addition of degreasers, detergents, and sanitisers, we can ensure a thorough clean to Food Safety and Eat Safe Brisbane standards.
